I feel uniquely positioned to talk about the manosphere, because I went from being its perfect target to its greatest threat. Male loneliness, and more specifically, a lack of good solutions to it drove increasingly desperate men to look for increasingly desperate solutions. This left them vulnerable to indoctrination from people who know how to take advantage of their desperation.
