I'll say it since nobody else wants to. The towel industry is so corrupt now. So I got on a meeting with a manufacturer from out in L A. They had been trying to get a meeting with me for months. So just backstory, we produce all of our products in house, so. But they can do towel, sunscreen. And I was like, okay, let me hear them out, because we can't do sunscreen on our own. As I'm on this meeting with them, they're trying to get me to let them manufacture all of our products.

And I'm like, no, we don't do that. And he's pitching me, and he names off about ten large, popular, especially here on TikTok, Tallo brands. And he's like, we manufacture for all of them. And so then I'm getting curious, and I'm like, so we send you our ingredients and our formula, our recipes, and you create them? He goes, oh, no, we're, um, doing one big batch, and then we just run everyone's jars through. So then I start asking about ingredients. They're using the cheapest.

They're not using suet fat. We only use suet fat that's been hand rendered in small batches. They are using mass produced to tallow. But it's like it feels generous to call it tallow that has been bleached and deodorized. And none of these tallow companies are telling you that. They are not telling you that the tallow they are selling you to put on Your skin has been bleached and deodorized. Because by law, they do not have to. And I. And angry about it. I'm so angry because I'm like,

the tallow trend started off from. Those of us who love tallow, have used it, we're, like, doing it before it was cool. And all of these families started creating these companies. Like, pure good was started by our kids as a homeschool project. Like, the tallow trend started off so wholesome, and the way it's becoming corrupt just breaks my heart and makes me so mad because these companies are using these horrible and cheap ingredients, so they're undercutting on pricing. All of the families who are just, like,

doing this because it's the right thing to do, and because we know what good towel can do for your skin. And so I feel a moral obligation to start posting on TikTok because I'm like, I can't. That I. I cannot with this anymore. It. I'm so angry at what the tallow industry is becoming. And I'm not saying buy from us. I'm not saying that. I'm saying I hope if you are ordering tallow, you are going to a company where they're being honest and transparent about how their tallow is produced,

where they're sourcing from, um, how it's being manufactured. Because, like I said, by law, they don't have to tell you it's bleached and deodorized. And 90% of the companies out there are using this. So I guess I'll Start posting on TikTok.
